
Kirk Kove is a long established Resort with history, widely known for its innovative Ski shows in the 50's and 60's.. Though the show is no longer, the clientele largely has remained giving the Resort a feel of familiarity and friendliness for new and repeat clients.

Kirk Kove is situated in the sparsely populated Land O' Lakes region one of the last natural preserved areas in Ontario . We are located on a dead end road leading to the beauty of Big Gull Lake , giving the impression we are remote, yet we are easily accessible from United States , Ottawa , Kingston and Toronto areas.
Your stay at Kirk Kove, you will find your cottage to be large and well situated on our waterfront (1/4 mile) to ensure some quiet time and privacy. All of our cottages have showers and many upgrades, all mattresses, fridges and stoves have been replaced new to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay with us.
New Lund Boats We have newly purchased a fleet of Lund deep V 14.5 foot boats with new 9.9 HP and 15.0 HP Johnson 2 stroke motor also outfitted with 2 swivel seats for maximum comfort.
Big Gull Lake is a large spring fed head water lake of the Mississippi River System. The Lake has a excellent reputation for its fishing and scenic beauty. The Walleye and Bass thrive in this lake due to its irregular bottom, bays and islands. The Lake is surrounded by thousands of acres of crown land offering many picturesque campsites to visit, picnic, swim or bring you easel to capture the memory.

From Kirk Kove we are your access to the Big Gull Lake Canoe Route which covers nine lakes and 100 Km. considered to take 5 day for intermediate canoeist.
