2006 Vacation Season Newsletter

Claire and I are just going through the photos of last year to update our website. Photos of great memories and excellent fishing.

We hope winter is being kind to you and it passes quickly, itís our warmest in over a century. We would like to thank-you all for making our past year successful and enjoyable.

For all of you who gave us customer referrals we thank-you. We consider this to be quite a compliment that you would recommend us.

We appreciate the rave reviews about the many changes i.e.: cottage and store renovations and the new Lund boats. This motivates us to stay at it, there are still many changes and surprises to come for 2006 and beyond.

We would like to see even more use of our Pavilion, evening card games, family meal gatherings etc. We intend to install cable television, internet access, VCR maybe movie night, currently we are looking for a shuffle board, games etc.

This fall we have a wedding planned, the brides family had rented here for years when she was a child, a perfect destination for a large family gathering, eliminates drinking driving etc.

Kirk Kove will be proudly celebrating 75 years as a tourism destination in 2007 a good time will be planned, blue grass music, food, possibly water ski show etc. on the weekend of September 2007. Book a cottage or two and stay for the weekend and enjoy the festivities.

To you our valued friends, we would like to show our appreciation for staying with us in the spring or summer or both by offering a 20% discount off our fall rates, minimum 2 nights stay required, as an extra incentive we will even supply the turkey for our thanksgiving. Inquire

Looking forward to seeing you all soon

Take Care,
Jim,Claire,Leigh
